UGC NET - University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test 2018
UGC-NET 2018 Notification and aplly online:

National
Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGCNET (Dec) 2018 for eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research
Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in December 2018. NTA
National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted on behalf of UGC to determine the
eligibility of candidates for the eligibility for Assistance Professor only or
Junior Research Fellowship & eligibility for Assistant Professor both in
Universities and Colleges.
Ministry of
Human Resources Development (MHRD), National Testing Agency, Govt of India invites
applications for conducting UGC-NET for recruitment of Assistant
Professor & Junior Research Fellow.
Eligibility
·
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks
(without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from
universities/institutions recognised by UGC. The Other Backward Classes (OBC)
belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/persons
with disability (PwD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks
(without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are
eligible for this Test.

Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree
or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s
degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates
whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test
Age Limit (as on 01-12-2018)
· Age Limit for JRF: Not more than 30 Years
· Age Limit for Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit
· Age relaxation is applicable as per rules
